OS Landplan is the ideal product for those who need to understand the profile of the land, the assets that reside and the features that occur upon it.

Landplan is available as a hardcopy output on film or water and fade resistant paper from A4 size to A0. Additionally, Landplan may be produced to a digital file (.tiff) for greater use and interpretation in CAD/GIS/Graphics applications.

At scales of 1:5000 and 1:10000, Landplan is bound to satisfy any requirement for referencing properties to local landmarks, extents of land, areas for development or even general interest of the surrounding area.

This product was the first coloured detail map data set to be digitally derived from a variety of existing Ordnance Survey thematic and topographic databases. Landplan utilises the National Topographic Database, (OSCAR) road centreline data and height data showing contours and spot heights. For clarity, features are generalised and edited to a purpose-built specification. The result is a high quality graphic map with greater definition, flexibility and improved positional accuracy in a choice of outputs, colour or greyscale.
