Masonmap and the web site Masonmap.com are the trading names of the retail division of Mason Land Surveys Ltd (MLS), A company registered in Scotland.

Masonmap has been the retail division of MLS since 1992, when it first started out as an outlet known as Superplan. The Superplan name came from the brand name of Ordnance Survey’s then new digital mapping portfolio, which was aimed specifically at providing Professionals with detailed mapping extracts on demand in every Town and City throughout the UK.

The name Superplan was used up until the year 2000, at which point this network of retail outlets underwent change and product offering. This combined with the launch of a separate website, confirmed that the business should be renamed and branded to reflect the new partnerships that exist with suppliers and the services that are now offered.

Masonmap as it is now known grew from this beginning to become a leading supplier of quality mapping products and excellent service, with multiple locations providing Business, Professional and Consumer customers with a wide portfolio of mapping products from many suppliers and associated tools for productivity, design and reference display.
