Paper Map Copying Licence - it's available now!!!

We are now able to sell the Paper Map Copying Licence directly to you in store. This allows purchasers to copy mapping in thier business (non-profit making purposes only).

OS and Masonmap, making it easier for you to legally use and create mapping copies.

From as little as £54.75 ex VAT, you are authourised to reproduce mapping on paper and electronically for a variety of uses and at multiple business locations if you require.

Partner Support & Development - Stuart Henderson

Masonmap has been joined by Stuart Henderson, a local person with experience of Sales, Marketing and Event Management. Stuart has joined us to support and develop our partners and key customers in their retail efforts and internal use of Ordnance Survey licenced data.

Stuart can arrange training live via web technologies or on-site, assist customers with CPD events (with Ordnance Survey) and advise of the best licences for using OS products.

Prontaprint's taking the lead with mapping

Masonmap and its partner organisation, Prontaprint have added a further 8 of their outlets to the partner list. Prontaprint Hayes and Uxbridge, both in Middlesex have recently been trained and gone live in their respective markets. These new partners now provide Ordnance Survey Mapping & Data Centre products to their customer base, new and existing with this exciting professional product range.

A further 6 Prontaprint's joined our network in August with several more set to join in September, this expansion of their sales portfolio follows on from Corporate approval by Prontaprint UK from their Managing Director Laird Mackay and his Business Development Manager and team.

.PDF® format mapping - direct to your desktop!

OS Sitemap & OS Landplan are now available to buy as Adobe PDF format files. These products are un-changed except that you may now receive the mapping in .PDF format, to generate hardcopy yourself from your own premises and printing equipment. Masonmap and its partners now provide the .PDF by email, CD or other digital medium to you in the same manner that paper output was provided. Additional run on copies of the map must be declared at point of purchase/order to ensure copyright.

Ministerial Visit to Masonmap

Masonmap and its parent organisation, Mason Land Surveys have recently been visited by the local Member of Parliament, Willie Rennie, his colleague in the Scottish Parliament Jim Tolson and The European Parliament member Elspeth Attwooll MEP.

All Ministers received a tour of our facility and saw just how members of the public and business community may buy a map from our Mapping & Data Centre, for their development or design use. Data from the latest Ordnance Survey OS Sitemap data-set as well as other products such as OS Select for leisure and reference thorugh to third party products including Getmapping aerial data.

OS Mid-Scales available as digital data

Masonmap has become a Licensed Partner of Ordnance Survey to resell OS mid-scale raster data in both tile format and as customised extracts for business and consumer customers.
Recent customers have included Grampian Fire Brigade's head quarters in Aberdeen for a an entire wall's worth of mapping. Joined seamlessly in CAD and then printed for onward mounting onto their wall illustrating the whole of Aberdeenshire at a glance.

Ordnance Survey Data Licencing, what you need to know!

Ordnance Survey data; OS Sitemap in DXF format is now available with a choice of end user licences. The new licence known as Plan, design & build (PDB) is a longer term user licence with the abiltiy for data to be shared during the project and a time span chosen for the licence. The Internal business use (IBU) licence is the most well known, however it only provides for 12 months use of the data on a single terminal, which in today's world is rather limiting to any business!

PDB licences may run from 12 - 30 months with sharing of data and archiving ability, a must for Professionals keeping accurate records and keeping in line with copyright law.
